Channarayapatna (April 24): In a significant cultural development, MLA CN Balakrishna announced that statues of Dr. Rajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar will soon be constructed in the town.
Speaking at an event held in Rajkumar Park, he emphasized improving public amenities and enhancing park infrastructure. Children’s play equipment was inaugurated during the event.
The park has become a major attraction, and further improvements like lighting and drinking water facilities will be added soon, he said.
Responding to the association’s request, the MLA confirmed that statue construction work will begin shortly at a prominent location.
