ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಬಯೋಮೆಟ್ರಿಕ್ ಲಾಕರ್ ತೆರೆಯಲು ಯುವತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತಪಡಿಸಿದ ಆರೋಪಿ, ಆಕೆ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದಾಗ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಚಾರ್ಜರ್ ಕೇಬಲ್ನಿಂದ ಕತ್ತು ಬಿಗಿದು ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನಂತರ ಮೃತದೇಹದ ಬೆರಳಚ್ಚು ಬಳಸಿ ಲಾಕರ್ ತೆರೆಯಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
