ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ: ಸಿಲ್ಕ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್, ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಹರಾಜು, ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ನೆರವು
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಮಾರ್ಚ್,6,2026 (www.kannadapost.com): ಭಾರತದ ಒಟ್ಟು ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 46 ಶೇಕಡಾ ಪಾಲು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ದೇಶದ ‘ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ’ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ರೈತರ ಆದಾಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹಲವು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
2 ಲಕ್ಷ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ₹531 ಕೋಟಿ ಸಹಾಯಧನ
ಕಳೆದ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೀಲಿಂಗ್ ಶೆಡ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ, ಹನಿ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಘಟಕಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ₹531 ಕೋಟಿ ಸಹಾಯಧನವನ್ನು 2 ಲಕ್ಷ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ರೇಷ್ಮೆಗೂಡು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿ
ರಾಜ್ಯದ 15 ಪ್ರಮುಖ ರೇಷ್ಮೆಗೂಡು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದ ದೇಶದ ಮೊದಲ ಮತ್ತು ಏಕೈಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ನೆರವು
ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಾಗುವ ರೇಷ್ಮೆಗೂಡನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡಲು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕೆ.ಜಿ.ಗೆ ₹10 ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ₹20ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದೆ.

ಚಾಕಿ ಸಾಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ
ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಆಯ್ದ ಜಮೀನುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೈತ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರೈತ ಉತ್ಪಾದಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚಾಕಿ ಸಾಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಯೋಜಿಸಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಂದ ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ರೈತರ ಆದಾಯವೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ.
Karnataka Strengthens Silk Sector with Subsidies, Digital Markets and New Silk Parks
Bengaluru: Karnataka, which contributes nearly 46% of India’s total silk production, continues to be recognized as the Silk Capital of the country.
To strengthen the sericulture sector and improve farmer income, the state government has introduced several major initiatives.
₹531 Crore Subsidy for 2 Lakh Beneficiaries
Over the last three years, the government has provided ₹531 crore in subsidies to around 2 lakh beneficiaries for activities such as:
Construction of reeling sheds
Installation of drip irrigation units
Other sericulture development activities
Digital Transformation in Cocoon Markets
Karnataka has become the first and only state in India to introduce fully digital systems in 15 major cocoon markets.
These include:
Cashless transactions
E-auction systems
E-payment mechanisms
Digital payment platforms
Increased Transport Subsidy
To support farmers in North Karnataka, the transport subsidy for cocoon sales will be increased from ₹10 to ₹20 per kilogram when farmers sell cocoons in government markets.
Silk Parks in Five Cities
The government plans to establish Silk Parks in the following locations:
Ramanagara
Shidlaghatta
Haveri
Tandavapura (Mysuru)
Kalaburagi
These parks will boost silk production and provide better infrastructure for the silk industry.
Chawki Rearing Centers
The government will also establish Chawki Rearing Centers in selected lands of the Sericulture Department in collaboration with farmer entrepreneurs and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
This initiative aims to improve cocoon quality and increase farmers’ income.
