The Tourism Department has cancelled the license of a homestay in Kutta village of Kodagu district following allegations of sexual assault on a foreign woman.
According to reports, a woman of American origin was allegedly drugged through juice and assaulted by a staff member at the homestay.

The accused reportedly mixed a substance in the victim’s drink and committed the crime. The homestay owner is also accused of attempting to cover up the incident.
