ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ,ಮೇ,01,2026(www.kannadapost.com): ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಯಾತ್ರಾಸ್ಥಳ Male Mahadeshwara Hills ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (ಕೆಎಸ್ಆರ್ಟಿಸಿ) ಬಸ್ಸೊಂದು ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದೃಷ್ಟವಶಾತ್ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಾಣಹಾನಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿಲ್ಲ.

ಮಲೆ ಮಹದೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಕೊಳ್ಳೇಗಾಲದತ್ತ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಸ್, ತಾಳುಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಸಮೀಪದ ಕಡಿದಾದ ತಿರುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗುವಾಗ ಚಾಲಕನ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ತಪ್ಪಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ಮಧ್ಯೆಯೇ ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

🚧 ಸಂಚಾರ ಅಸ್ತವ್ಯಸ್ತ
ಬಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಮಲೆ ಮಹದೇಶ್ವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ರಸ್ತೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಲಕಾಲ ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡಚಣೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಘಟನೆಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಿಳಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ರಸ್ತೆ ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಸಂಚಾರವನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.
KSRTC Bus Overturns at MM Hills: Several Injured, Major Tragedy Averted
Chamarajanagar, May 1:
A Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus overturned at Male Mahadeshwara Hills on Friday, injuring several passengers. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported.
📍 Incident Details
The bus was travelling from Male Mahadeshwara temple towards Kollegala when the accident occurred near Talubetta. The driver reportedly lost control while negotiating a sharp curve, causing the bus to overturn on the road.
🚑 Passengers Hospitalised
Several passengers sustained injuries and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. According to sources, all are out of danger.
🚧 Traffic Disrupted
The overturned bus blocked the road, leading to temporary traffic disruption in the MM Hills stretch. Police rushed to the spot, assisted the injured, and later cleared the road to restore normal traffic.
