ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು:ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿರೋಧವಿಲ್ಲ: ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೆ.ಎನ್.ರಾಜಣ್ಣ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ Shangri-La Hotel ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, 2023ರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ತರಲಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಮಸೂದೆ ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮರುವಿಂಗಡನೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಅಂಗೀಕಾರವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮರುವಿಂಗಡನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ತಂದಿರುವುದು ಮಸೂದೆ ವಿಫಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದರು. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಟೀಕಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ K. N. Rajanna ಅವರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಕುರಿತು ಕೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಸಿಎಂ,
“ರಾಜಣ್ಣ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah clarified that there is no opposition to women’s reservation.

Speaking to the media at Shangri-La Hotel, he said the Women’s Reservation Bill had already been passed in the Lok Sabha in 2023.

He stated that the bill failed due to the inclusion of constitutional amendments and delimitation. If it had been introduced independently, it would have been passed.

He alleged that the central government combined delimitation with reservation for political reasons, leading to its failure.
