ಅರಸೀಕೆರೆ ,ಮಾರ್ಚ್,7,2026 (www.kannadapost.com): ಹಾಸನ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅರಸೀಕೆರೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಹಾರನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಸುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಕೋಡಿಮಠ ಮಹಾಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹದೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಭಾವದಿಂದ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಜರುಗಿತು.
ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಡಾ. ಶಿವಾನಂದ ಶಿವಯೋಗಿ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಲಾತಂಡಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಭಕ್ತರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ದೂರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವಿಧಿವಿಧಾನ
ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಮಠದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಗ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಹಾ ತಪಸ್ವಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವಲಿಂಗ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರ ಗದ್ದುಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರೋಹಿತರಿಂದ
ರುದ್ರಾಭಿಷೇಕ
ಸಹಸ್ರ ಬಿಲ್ವಾರ್ಚನೆ
ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಭಕ್ತರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಉತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ
ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10:30 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಮಠದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಷ್ಪಾಲಂಕೃತ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಗಳು ವಿರಾಜಮಾನರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ, ಭಕ್ತರು “ಹರ ಹರ ಮಹಾದೇವ” ಎಂಬ ಜಯಘೋಷದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಲಾತಂಡಗಳು ಉತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಮೆರುಗು ನೀಡಿದವು.
ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದ ಸಂಕೇತ
ಉತ್ಸವ ಹಾರನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಾಗ ರಸ್ತೆ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಬಾಂಧವರು ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ನೀಡಿ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲು ಹಾಕಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಪಡೆದರು. ಈ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು.
ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಭಾವ
ಉತ್ಸವವು ಗ್ರಾಮ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಆರತಿ ಬೆಳಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಭಕ್ತರು ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಹೂವಿನ ಹಾರ ಹಾಕಿ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಬೀದಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಳಿರು ತೋರಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಳೆ ಕಂಬಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಬಿರು ಬೇಸಿಲನ್ನೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸದೆ ನೂರಾರು ಭಕ್ತರು ಉತ್ಸವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
ದುಗ್ಗಳ ಉತ್ಸವ ಮತ್ತು ಮುತ್ತೈದೆ ಸೇವೆ
ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಸುಮಾರು 3 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಉತ್ಸವ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ನೂರಾರು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದುಗ್ಗಳದ ಬಟ್ಟಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ಮಹದೇಶ್ವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದತ್ತ ಸಾಗಿದರು.

ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಹರಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ನಂತರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತಪ್ಪಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದ ಶಾಮಿಯಾನದಡಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಮುತ್ತೈದೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಶ್ರೀಗಳು ಲಿಂಗ ಪೂಜಾ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
ದಾಸೋಹ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ
ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಠದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ದಾಸೋಹ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Silver Palanquin Procession Marks Mahadeshwara Jatra at Kodimatha in Hassan
Arasikere: The Mahadeshwara Swamy Jatra Mahotsava at the sacred Kodimatha Mahasamsthana in Haranahalli village of Arasikere taluk, Hassan district, witnessed a grand celebration on Friday with the traditional Silver Palanquin procession.
Jagadguru Dr. Shivananda Shivayogi Rajendra Swamiji led the ceremonial procession amid thousands of devotees and cultural troupes.
Morning Rituals
The day began with special religious rituals at the shrine of Maha Tapasvi Sri Shivalinga Swamiji, where priests performed:
Rudrabhisheka
Sahasra Bilvarchane
in the presence of devotees.
Grand Silver Palanquin Procession
At around 10:30 AM, Swamiji was seated in the beautifully decorated silver palanquin, after which the procession began with devotees chanting “Har Har Mahadev”.
Several cultural troupes accompanied the procession, adding vibrancy to the celebrations.
Symbol of Communal Harmony
As the procession entered Haranahalli village, members of the Muslim community welcomed Swamiji with garlands and shawls, seeking his blessings — a gesture symbolizing communal harmony.
Devotees’ Participation
Women performed Aarti as the procession passed through the village streets, while devotees offered garlands and prayers.
The streets were decorated with fresh green festoons and banana stems for the festival.
Rituals at Mahadeshwara Hill
Later in the afternoon, hundreds of women carried Duggala offerings on their heads and walked towards Mahadeshwara hill.
Devotees performed:
Hejje Namaskara
Dinduruli (ritual prostration)
as part of their vows.
Women also performed the Muthaide Seva, while Swamiji conducted Linga Puja rituals.
Community Feast
The Kodimatha Mutt arranged Dasoha (community meal) for devotees who attended the festival.
