ಸಕಲೇಶಪುರ, ಮಾರ್ಚ್,7,2026 (www.kannadapost.com): ಹಾಸನ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸಕಲೇಶಪುರ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಓಂನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆಯೊಂದು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜಲು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮುಳುಗಿ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೃತರನ್ನು ಭರತ್ (18) ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಥುನ್ (19) ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಪಾಳ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ನಾಲ್ವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈಜಲು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರು

ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನಾಲ್ವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಎಂಬುವವರ ಕಾಫಿ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆರೆಗೆ ಈಜಲು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಕೆರೆಯೊಳಗಿನ ಕೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಭರತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಥುನ್ ಮುಳುಗಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೃತರಾದ ಮಿಥುನ್ ಇಂದು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಪಿಯುಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಗೈರಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಭರತ್ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪಿಯುಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ

ಭರತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಥುನ್ ಮುಳುಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಇನ್ನಿಬ್ಬರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಯದಿಂದ ಕೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೋಧ ನಡೆಸಿ ಇಬ್ಬರ ಮೃತದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತೆಗೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪೋಷಕರ ಆಕ್ರಂದನ

ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅಕಾಲಿಕ ಸಾವಿನ ಸುದ್ದಿ ತಿಳಿದು ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪೋಷಕರ ಆಕ್ರಂದನ ಮುಗಿಲುಮುಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ

ಘಟನೆಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಿಳಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಸಕಲೇಶಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Hassan: Two Students Drown While Swimming in Lake in Sakleshpur

Sakleshpur: In a tragic incident reported from Omnagar in Sakleshpur taluk of Hassan district, two students drowned while swimming in a lake on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Bharath (18) and Mithun (19). Both were students of Palya Government Pre-University College.

Four Students Had Gone Swimming

According to sources, four students had gone to swim in a lake located in the coffee estate owned by a person named Prakash.

During the swim, Bharath and Mithun reportedly got stuck in the mud inside the lake and drowned.

Mithun was reportedly absent from the Second PUC examination scheduled today, while Bharath was studying in First PUC.

Two Students Escaped

The other two students who were with them noticed the incident and managed to come out of the lake safely.

Later, local residents rushed to the spot and retrieved the bodies from the lake.

Parents in Shock

The tragic death of the two young students has left their families and villagers in deep shock. Heart-rending scenes were witnessed as the parents broke down in grief.

Police Investigation

Police officials visited the spot and conducted a preliminary inspection.

The incident falls under the jurisdiction of Sakleshpur Rural Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
