ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮೊರದಾಬಾದ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಕಲಕುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಘಾತಕಾರಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. 25 ವರ್ಷದ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ Hardik Malhotra ತನ್ನ ಅವಳಿ ಸೋದರಿ ಹಿಮಶಿಖಾ ಮಲ್ಹೋತ್ರಾಳನ್ನು 40 ಬಾರಿ ಚಾಕುವಿನಿಂದ ಇರಿದು ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ,ಮಾರ್ಚ್,9,2026 (www.kannadapost.com): ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮೊರದಾಬಾದ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಕಲಕುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಘಾತಕಾರಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಮುರಿದುಬಿದ್ದುದಕ್ಕೆ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳಿ ಸೋದರಿಯೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡ ಯುವಕನೊಬ್ಬ, ತನ್ನದೇ ಅವಳಿ ಸೋದರಿಯನ್ನು ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
25 ವರ್ಷದ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್ ಮಲ್ಹೋತ್ರಾ, ತನ್ನ ಅವಳಿ ಸೋದರಿ ಹಿಮಶಿಖಾ ಮಲ್ಹೋತ್ರಾಳನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು 40 ಬಾರಿ ಚಾಕುವಿನಿಂದ ಇರಿದು ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ತಡೆಯಲು ಬಂದ ತಾಯಿ ನೀಲಿಮಾ ಮಲ್ಹೋತ್ರಾ ಮೇಲೂ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು 24 ಗಂಟೆಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಮಶಿಖಾ ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಬದೌನ್ ಮೂಲದವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಉದ್ಯೋಗದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಗುರುಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಹೋಳಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು.
ಹಿಮಶಿಖಾ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಎಂಬಿಎ ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಸಂಬಂಧದ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಮನೆಯವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್ಗೆ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಾಗ್ರಾಮ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಪರಿಚಯವಾದ ಯುವತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿತ್ತು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋದರಿ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಬ್ಬರ ನಡುವೆ ಗಲಾಟೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಬಳಿಕ ಬ್ರೇಕಪ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಹೋಳಿ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಇದೇ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಮಶಿಖಾ ನಡುವೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ವಾಗ್ವಾದ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್ ಅಡುಗೆ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಚಾಕು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಸೋದರಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆಕೆಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 40 ಬಾರಿ ಇರಿದು ಭೀಕರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮಗಳ ಕಿರುಚಾಟ ಕೇಳಿ ತಾಯಿ ತಡೆಯಲು ಮುಂದಾದಾಗ ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೂ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಘಟನೆಯ ಬಳಿಕ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರು ಕಿರುಚಾಟ ಕೇಳಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್ ರಕ್ತಸಿಕ್ತ ಚಾಕುವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ.
ನಂತರ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಚಾಕುವನ್ನೂ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್, ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಮುರಿದುಬಿದ್ದುದಕ್ಕೆ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋದರಿಯೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ್ ಗೂಗಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ನಂತರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ತೊರೆದು ಯೂಟ್ಯೂಬ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಆರೋಪಿಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕೊಲೆ, ಕೊಲೆ ಯತ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯಡಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರುಪಡಿಸಿ ಜೈಲಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

A shocking incident in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Engineer Hardik Malhotra allegedly stabbed his twin sister Himshikha Malhotra 40 times blaming her and his mother for his breakup. Police arrested him within 24 hours.
Uttar Pradesh: A shocking and heartbreaking incident has been reported from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. A 25-year-old engineer allegedly murdered his own twin sister, blaming her and his mother for the breakup of his romantic relationship.
The accused, Hardik Malhotra, stabbed his twin sister Himshikha Malhotra nearly 40 times with a kitchen knife. When their mother Neelima Malhotra tried to intervene, he also attacked her.
Police said the accused fled the scene after the attack, but he was arrested within 24 hours during a search operation.
Hardik and Himshikha were originally from Badaun district in Uttar Pradesh and were living in Gurugram for work. They had recently come home to celebrate the Holi festival with their family.
Himshikha was working in a private company while pursuing an MBA.
According to police, Hardik was in a romantic relationship with a girl he met on Instagram. However, his mother and sister reportedly opposed the relationship, which eventually led to a breakup.
During the Holi visit, the siblings again argued about the relationship. In a fit of rage, Hardik allegedly took a knife from the kitchen and attacked his sister.
Police said Himshikha was stabbed around 40 times.
Hearing her screams, their mother rushed to stop the attack but was also assaulted.
Neighbors informed the police after hearing the commotion. By the time police arrived, Hardik had fled, leaving the blood-stained knife behind.
Police later arrested him and recovered the weapon.
During interrogation, Hardik reportedly confessed that he believed his mother and sister were responsible for his breakup.
Reports also suggest that Hardik previously worked at Google but later left his job and started working on YouTube projects.
Police have registered a case under sections of murder, attempted murder and the Arms Act. The accused has been produced before a court and sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is underway.
