ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಮಾರ್ಚ್,6,2026 (www.kannadapost.com): ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಮೀನುಗಾರರ ಆದಾಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹಲವು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದೆ. ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಧುನಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೀನು ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಉಚಿತ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಕಿಟ್ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ
ಮೀನುಗಾರರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವ ಉಚಿತ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಸಲಕರಣೆ ಕಿಟ್ ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ₹10,000 ರಿಂದ ₹20,000ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಜೈವಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ನವೀನ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮುದ್ರ ಕೃಷಿ (Mariculture) ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕಾ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ Centre of Excellence ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

A Centre of Excellence will be established at the Mangaluru Fisheries College to promote:

Innovative technologies
Mariculture (marine farming)
Matsyadarshini Centers
To promote fish consumption and provide hygienic fish products to the public, Matsyadarshini outlets will be established in:

New Fish Markets
Modern fish markets will be constructed in:

to improve fish marketing infrastructure.
Fisheries Road Development
The government will allocate ₹20 crore for maintenance of fisheries link roads across the state.
Inland Fisheries Development
Inland fisheries play a key role in rural livelihoods and food security.
