ನಗರದ ಎಂ. ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಟೆಂಡರ್ ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ತಾಯಿ ರೂಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಇ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ ಅಸಿಸ್ಟೆಂಟ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ತಂದೆ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರಿಯಾದ ಹೇಮಲತಾ, ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಪಿಯುಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 600ಕ್ಕೆ 580 ಅಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪೋಷಕರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಳಹಂತದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಮಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕೊರತೆಯಾಗದಂತೆ ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಶ್ರಮ ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಈ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವಾಗಿ ಮಗಳು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಗೌರವ ತಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಹೇಮಲತಾ ನಗರದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಎಪಿಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಶಿಸ್ತುಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಈಪ್ಪೋ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುವಾಗಲೂ 93% ಅಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಇಂತಹ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹೇಮಲತಾಳನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Proving that determination and hard work can overcome any obstacle, talented student Hemalatha from Hassan has achieved remarkable success.
Daughter of Roopa, an attender at M. Krishna Law College, and Nagaraj, a lab assistant at MCE College, Hemalatha scored 580 out of 600 in the 2nd PUC examination, gaining attention across the district.
Despite their modest background, her parents worked tirelessly to support her education. Their dedication has now paid off through her academic achievement.
A student of APJ College, Hemalatha has maintained consistent academic excellence. Earlier, she scored 93% during her studies at Malenadu Eppo Campus, showcasing her talent from the beginning.
