ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು/ಮಂಗಳೂರು,ಮಾರ್ಚ್,17,2026 (www.kannadapost.com):  ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮೂಡಬಿದರೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಸಂದೇಶ್ ಪಿ.ಜಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಗಂಭೀರ ಆರೋಪಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಿಸಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ಕಿರುಕುಳ, ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಣದ ಒತ್ತಡ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಆರೋಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮಹಿಳೆ ತಮ್ಮ ದೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ

ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಆರೋಪದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಡವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಸಭ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. “ಮಾತು ಕೇಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಸುಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆಂದು ದೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ಆರೋಪ

ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಹಲವಾರು ಬಾರಿ ಅಸಭ್ಯವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸಿ, “ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಮಲಗು” ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಹಣ ನೀಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ರೌಡಿಶೀಟರ್ ತೆರೆಯುವುದಾಗಿ ಬೆದರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪವೂ ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ

ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಮಿಷನರ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದರೂ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಮಹಿಳೆ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಿಗದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ, ಡಿಜಿಪಿ, ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹ ದೂರು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಂದ ಆರೋಪ

ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಒಂದೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಮೂಡಬಿದರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 20ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಆರೋಪ ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿದೆ.

• ಮನೆಗಳ ಬಳಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಗೇಟ್ ಹಾರುವುದು

• ಮಹಿಳೆಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಸಭ್ಯವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸುವುದು

• ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದು ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುವುದು

ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವು ಆರೋಪಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿವೆ.

ಭಯದಿಂದ ಮೌನ

ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಭಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮೌನವಾಗಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಂಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.

Serious Allegations Against Police Inspector in Moodbidri

Bengaluru/Mangaluru, March 17: A woman has filed serious allegations against Moodbidri Police Inspector Sandesh P.G, accusing him of harassment, threats, and misuse of power.

Background of the Complaint

According to the complainant, the inspector threatened to arrest her husband and used it as leverage to harass her.

She alleged that he intimidated her by invoking the names of senior officials and warned of physical assault and false cases if she did not comply.

Sexual Harassment Claims

The woman further alleged that the officer behaved inappropriately and pressured her for physical relations. She also claimed that he demanded money and threatened to open a rowdy sheet if she refused.

Complaint to Authorities

Despite submitting a complaint to the Mangaluru Police Commissioner, she claims no action was taken. She has now approached the DGP, Home Minister, and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah seeking justice.

Multiple Victims Alleged

Reports suggest that more than 20 women in the region may have faced similar harassment.
